Great fun with excellent team for all aspects of the 8 mile trip of class 2 rafting. I'm 71 and took my 13 and 11 year old grandchildren. None of us had ever rafted before and we had a very safe, exciting and fun experience. Thanks and blessings to Neil, Haley and Chris team.
We had our annual reunion in Pigeon Force this year and we decided to go white water rafting. We chose Wild Water Rafting and we were delighted with our choice. Our guide's name was Jeff and he was delightful! He was very good, professional and fun. We had a blast. If we are ever in Pigeon Forge again, I know we'll be back here rafting.
I wish that I could give Wildwater more than five stars. They went above and beyond for us in a way that I've never experienced before, anywhere. Granted, we contacted them ahead of time to make arrangements for my dad, but they still outdid themselves on service.
First time rafting and it was by far the best time I have ever had it! It was amazing and I want to raft everyday now! Rye (he said like the bread...hopefully spelling is right) was funny and made the experience great and entertaining!
While the river was fun and scenery absolutely beautiful, or guide openly discouraged the actions of other guides the entire trip. She also smoked in the customer waiting area. :( Please go far, far away for that.
My parents brought us all together in the Bryson City area for a week to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and one of the things my 80 year old dad really wanted was to do one last whitewater rafting trip -- "the rougher, the better"! Unfortunately, my dad isn't as mobile as he was for his many past whitewater trips -- he primarily uses an electric wheel chair, with double canes for limited walking. Wildwater arranged to have two guides in our raft, to ensure his safety. They took care of our gear, got us on the bus first and off last, and demonstrated patience at the divine level! Our guide, Ryan, was right there with dad as he worked his way down the ramp to the river on his canes. Ryan told him to take his time, no rush -- and did it in a way that made us feel like there really was no rush, as if we were his only group all day! He worked that raft so that we got a great ride, but had no bumps to toss dad around. He was informative, pleasant, professional, and so very patient. Dad had a great time, and so did the rest of us! They were equally helpful and patient getting us back out of the raft at the end, and back on the bus. I heartily recommend Wildwater -- and if you have any special needs, I suggest you contact them ahead of time. You'll be amazed!
