The gift shop has many items that have inspired me for ideas for Christmas! For the new hiker in our family, a book on day hikes in the area, for example. The folks there are very welcoming and helpful with all kinds of information. I have also toured the museum, which was much more engaging than I first thought it would be. It's good to know what went on in earlier times, so to better understand where we are now.

Absolutely loved this visitors center! Possibly the best one I have ever been to! The employees were very friendly and helpful.
We got directions, suggestions, warnings, every conceivable problem we had was quickly handled and they were doing this for every person that came in, and a LOT of people came in.
