My first time ever water rafing! I had a blast. I was a bit concerned that the experience was a lot of fun, but I felt safe at all times. We only got stuck when we were 100 yards from the end of the trip. It took a while to get our boat off that rock. That was the only situation where I was off our boat.
If your not aquatinted with the area, stop here. The staff are friendly and knowledgable of the area. Personal experience from the staff can be very valuable. Good variety of outdoor activities to take part in. And right on the A.T.
Great service, great trip!! I didn't shop around but I feel like I got a great deal for the price. I felt the guides made us feel comfortable and looked to make the trip as much fun as possible. We'll be back for sure. Their shop is a little pricey but we were there for the rafting.
First time out on the white water was very happy we went to the Nantahala the river was running fast from the Dam being open it was great! My wife was so happy we did the river we are now getting ready to reschedule and do a new trip with the kids thank you so much and a special thanks to Mark Freeze super nice guy hope to see you again this vacation was one to remember we're going to try the train and raft in the near future. P. S. bring water shoes and a small bag with carabineer to clip the bag to the raft to store your water and stuff! THANKS AGAIN Allen
Love this place. Rent a raft or something to go down the Nantahala. You won't regret it. Great place to bring kids 7+. They also have ropes course avaliable and a great outdoor bar/restaurant.
