Clean, comfortable and well equipped; great fire pit area
Amazing view, roomy small cabin, and great local sites, roads to carve, and green everywhere
This place is incredible. Incredibly clean and very comfortable. Just minutes from Bryson City and the great Nanatahala Outdoor Center. If you want a great "glamping" experience you need to go to Sky Ridge.
I only have one complaint, the photos don't do justice. We fell asleep to moonlight through the dome, coyotes and fox vocalizing from the valley below us. We woke up to a lovely blend of coffee in handmade mugs, and watching the mountains glow with the morning light. The yurts are well cared for, and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with tools/utensils, and basic ingredients (i.e. salt, pepper, sugar). I've been around the world a few times, and can't say that I've been somewhere that strives so hard to feel like home. If you're curious about yurts this is the place to go!
Absolutely amazing!! Words can't describe what it is like at this place. Extra clean, safe, welcoming.....the list goes on! The owners spared no expense getting these Yurts dialed in. The fireplace area and views from your deck at any of the yurts is second to none! This place is a class act and my family will be returning for a much longer stay in the near future. The owner even answered her phone while on vacation in Florida? NOBODY does that!! That said it all for me i booked the night right after talking to her and my gut was right! Way to go Sky Ridge Yurts!
