Great expereince. The wife had never experienced the train ride experience. Only complaint. The heat in our car was only run maybe 15 minutes each way. Temps outside were upper 20's to low 30's.
10 of us went on the Polar express ride. It was pricy to say the least
We participated in the Polar Express Train Ride and had so much fun. We had 4 adults, two 3 yr olds, and a 10 year old in our party and every one of us enjoyed it. We will remember this forever. Oh, and the hot chocolate was the best I've ever had!
My kids loved their ride on the polar express. We did have a seating issue, because the seat layout was not same as posted online. Thanks to some other riders whose group was separated, on either side of us, we were able to work out changing some seats around amongst ourselves.
Went to Bryson City to watch the great eclipse. The eclipse ride was full, but I decided to take it the next day since I was in the area. A random kid decided to stick beside me like family which was cute. The scenery is gorgeous. From the open cars you can smell the mountain scents and feel the sunshine on your face. It passes lots of lake views in the mountains. Loved it. They have model trains at the station for sale and on display as well.
Put more effort into the train cars, the ride itself and overall experience was just kinda blah. The girl who served us was extremely friendly. Santa looked great no fake like some you are. That was the best part
But we drove 3 hours and spent a ton of money for a bland trip in my opinion.
