We rented a pontoon and float to pull behind the pontoon. From making the reservation to arriving and getting out on the water the staff was wonderful and helpful to deal with. We did an all day rental and everything was wonderful. The boat was clean and performed beautifully. Before taking the boat out they go ever everything to make sure you are familiar with the boat and how to operate it. They go over locations on the water and they provide a very detailed navigational map so you are sure to find your way. We went all the down to Fontana Dam and back pulling the tube most of the way and only used half a tank of gas. Wonderful experience! Excellent staff! Highly recommended! Check em out. You will be glad you did!
We spent a beautiful day on Lake Fontana. Almond Boat Dock is the closest to Bryson City & easy to get to. The people who run the office are great. If you are looking for a place to launch your boat into Lake Fontana I recommend Almond Boat Dock.
Beautiful place. Great location. Room had only one working socket. Extra clean pressed sheets but beds felt like sleeping on rebar. Had fun. Will return and stay elsewhere. Boat rental went smoothly.
