Hope to never go back there again, worst service I have seen since I moved to Bryson City, I guess unless you have lived here all your life this is the way they treat you. Waited in line and then told to step aside for a price check that never showed up, 80 Cents cost you a good customer, I will drive to Sylva to do business
This is the gold-standard of your "hometown hardware store". Essentially any and everything you might need for home maintenance is here. It is full of helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have very fair pricing - every time I comparison shop on Amazon, they are within 5%, and frequently cheaper. They service small engines, have a good selection of lumber, and all around excellent customer satisfaction. If you love that old-school handyman neighborly-friendly business style, this is the place to be.
