I was on vacation. My alternator went out. Mark's fixed me up, charged a fair price, and I didn't have to wait forever.
Service is Awful. Stay away! We paid them to put in a new ac system in our car and it stopped working a few months later. They "repaired" our air conditioner and made a huge mess out of it. We took it back to be fixed and they just ran more freeon in it and charge us more $$$. The ac stopped working again and we finally took it to a better mechanic who flushed the system the right way and pulled a bunch of metal from it. This meant that Marks had not cleaned the system out when they "fixed" it (found out later that they didn't even have the right equipment to do that). We ended up paying to put an entire new ac in the car (again)using Smokey Mountain Tire and Auto and they did it right.
LIVE LOCAL AND IF I EVER NEED SOMETHING DONE TO MY VEHICLE MARK'S IS THE PLACE, PERIOD! HE'S A VERY FAIR HARD WORKING MAN AND HIS CREW OF " GOOD OLE' BOYS" ARE SHARP! THE WORK HAS ALWAYS BEEN ON POINT AND THE PRICES MORE THAN REASONABLE. HOPE HE'S AROUND A LONG TIME!
My wife and I were traveling around western North Carolina for a few days to take a short vacation. We're from north Alabama and have a 2000 Honda Accord. It has some miles on it but still had been relatively dependable. The car had begun to run rough that morning so when we got to Bryson City, I decided to stop at the Advanced Auto parts store here and check the car's computer for trouble codes. Tanya from Advanced Auto Parts came out to our car and pulled the codes, free of charge! She was VERY knowledgeable and suggested a possible repair at Mark's Garage just down the road. We arrived at Mark's right when Mark and his staff were sitting down for lunch. Well...they are fast eaters because they were on our vehicle in a flash. I stood on the edge of the garage and watched hoping to learn something. I did. Mark and his staff are good mechanics and very nice people much like back home in Alabama. They had us on the road again in less than an hour and saved our vacation! All for $20.00! (New spark plug, cleared cylinder of oil, and told me to get new gaskets for valve cover and spark plugs when I got home) You can't ask for better than that. Bryson City, you are lucky to have good citizens like Mark and his staff! Thank you!
